Pulling Focus NYC is a student-led production company created to champion distinctive artistic voices across film and television at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, with strategic partnerships across NYC’s premier arts institutions. Inspired by A24's model of supporting author-driven work with strong cultural resonance, Pulling Focus will serve as an incubator for original student work that prioritizes artistic vision, takes creative risks, and builds a recognizable brand identity around quality and innovation.
Our mission is to create, develop, and produce bold, original film, television, and stage content by emerging artists that challenges conventions and reflects diverse perspectives, fostering collaboration across New York City’s leading arts programs
